Shere Surgery is a rural dispensing practice serving 12 local villages covering a 45 square mile practice area (See Practice Area Map). The surgery itself was built in 1993 and has been equipped to a high standard due to contributions from the patient-led charity SALV.

The partnership comprises Dr Graham Tyrell as senior partner, Dr Malcolm Harvey, Dr Charlotte Knight and Dr Clare Douglas. Dr Claudine Cole and Dr Emma Watts are our salaried GPs. We are committed to providing a high standard of care and are continually updating our knowledge and skills.

How to Register As a Patient

You will be asked to complete a registration form and bring your birth certificate or a passport or a photo ID driving licence together with a utility bill or a note from your employer stating permanent residence. You will also be asked to fill in a new patient questionnaire and if applicable make an appointment with one of our practice nurses for a routine health check.

Disabled Access

The surgery has facilities to accommodate wheelchairs. We have our own car park with two spaces reserved for disabled visitors.

We also have a portable hearing induction loop which can be used in your consultation; please ask at reception.
