Dispensary & Repeat medication

We have an experienced and well qualified team of dispensers who can provide you rmedication proptly and safely.

We dispense medication to most of our patients at Shere. Requests for repeat prescriptions must be in writing; you should complete your repeat slip or write a note detailing what medication you require, then deliver or post it to the surgery. Alternatively, you can fax it to us on 01483 202761. An email repeat request service is also available. Please ask at the dispensary for details and passcodes. You can contact the dispensary on 01483 209913 with queries relating to medication only.

Please allow 48 hours for the dispensary to process your prescription. This gives us time to order items not in stock and to maintain safety in our checking procedures.

The doctors review repeat prescriptions at least annually; and you will be advised when your review is due, please remember that dispensing staff can only dispense those medicines prescribed and authorised to be repeated by a doctor.
